Our cleaning rods are made from stainless steel with a hardness of approximately 35 on the Rockwell C Scale.  The tough, black handles are 3/4" in diameter and measure about 4" long, and are available in a larger diameter upon request.  Ball bearings are incorporated, which allow your custom rod to follow your barrel's rifling.  Each rod is hand-polished to a mirror-like finish, similar to chrome.    With proper care, Ivy Rods will offer you many, MANY years of faithful service.

The diameters of rods we’re making at this time are as follows:

.156" for 17cal
.187" for 20cal and 22RF
.203" for 22cal and up
.250" for the bigger boys

Prices for .203" and smaller rods 44" and under are $50 each plus shipping*.

Longer than 44" rods, and the .250" diameter rods are priced at $55 plus shipping*.

Rods can be made up to 44" in the .156" and .203" diameters.  Longer rods can be made in the .187" and .250".

Each rod is made to order so turnaround will vary with the amount of orders we currently have.

If you would like to place an order, please send us an email with what you'd like, along with your address.  Please be sure to include the rod diameter, rod length not including the handle, and what thread (or jag) you want on the end of the rod.  I can put 8-32 female threads in everything but the .156" rods.  Other threads can be made also.

*Shipping is based on the actual shipping charges plus the cost of the heavy duty shipping tubes. Many people prefer to feather this charge into the price of the rods. We, on the other hand, prefer to charge just one time for the tube itself, rather than charging you several times for only one tube (example: if you were to order three rods at the inflated price, you would be charged three times for the price of one tube if we feathered the tube into the price of each rod).

Every order is packaged and shipped with great care. With the rising shipping costs through UPS, we are starting to ship more USPS insured rather than UPS. If you have a preference, please let us know.
